I know at first it sounds so bland to do, but couple it with a few motivational speakers, potential actors provided by the LCCC Theater Department to act out some scenes and (if anyone is willing) your own story of getting though stereotypes and misconceptions and it might not be so bad.... But I was thinking, why don't we ask what people at the college would like to see more of in the school or in the community. And if there are do-able ideas, perhaps we could expand on them. To go about this, we might be able to put up suggestion boxes around the campus and maybe in stores (granted they give us permission) to get a poll of the community(ies).
