The Election, Prop 8, and what do we do now?

What's up guys I just wanted to post something in here since it looks like no one comes on anymore. Well to get started I was wondering what everyone thought of the election, yes I'm sure everyone got what they wanted but what I'm more interested is why everyone felt the need to vote now then before?

I also thought this would be right to post here since this is supposed to be a GSA; It looks like PROP 8 was voted on and Cali now will over turn all of the same sex marriages. What are we going to do about this, are we going to even talk about it? I want to, I had so much hope for this issue to pave the way for everyone to start getting off their asses and do something about the "gay" issue we face. But I guess the lack of activity here means not so much. I am restricted to my activities since I am still listed in active duty; the whole don't ask don't tell prevents me from doing much.

So what is PRIDE's next move. I haven't seen or heard of any activities for this semester. I remember getting an e mail about one but I guess it never happened. Mind if I ask anyone what did happen and if there are any more events for this semester at all?

we did familyfest, and by we I mean Me, Scott, Steven and NayNay. We haven`t done much because nobody shows up for meetings, I know there is more then 4 GBLT on campus, and nobody does anything so we cant do any productive events with 4 people
